October/November Surprise & Disaster « Thread Started on Oct 21, 2006, 10:22pm »
sooo, since it's so late in the month, iceh and i are combining october and november's s&d. more will be added as november rolls around. so, in the spirit of holloween, there are more disasters than surprises, muahahaha. ^.^
surprises:
storm: you have wandered across an ominous looking cave, and are presented with a choice: to enter, or no?
delta krone: while exploring the lands of bayer rock and plotting evil deeds against sakari, the bushes begin to shake, and out from them springs a foal, barely even a day or two old, hardly even able to walk. she is pure black with the marking of a spider upon it's forehead. it is the eve of halloween when you find her; she seems weak and sickly, so being kind you take her in, and have decided to let her bare the curse 'halloween'- hally for short. will she become a blessing or a true night-mare? (the foal will be played by a mod- still deciding who)
disasters:
everyone: the skies are steadily growing darker, and for quite some time it has not been snowing. however, in a matter of days empire will be hit with the worst snow storm in its history. better find shelter soon, for equines left out in the elements will be at the storm's mercy.
all wolves: you are plagued (pardon the pun) by the same disease the neutrals were first cursed with, then the lights, now you. you are starting to hallucinate and see things which are not there. as well, you are becoming more aggressive, and have shorter tempers.
all darks: a lack of food due to the winter has caused pregnant and mares who have recently foaled to produce significantly less milk, hence more susceptible to disease, or, more specifically, the disease of the neutrals/light/wolves. you are very weak and often see illusions of your nightmares while awake.
ice: you have been struck by an unknown disease, perhaps a new strain of the one of the neutrals/lights/wolves/dark foals. in any case, you are very weak, and whats worse, have been involved in a freak accident with a herd of deer and have been trampled, breaking quite a few ribs and spraining your left rear leg.
hawk: your disease has escalated suddenly to the point where you have become completely blind. only a sacred herb found in the devil's closet can even hope to heal you. someone must journey to the dark lands and either convince the darks to give it to you or risk sneaking in- should the elected choose the latter, they risk being caught and then put to the mercy of the interim dark lord, pestilence. better hurry- you don't have long before the blindness will become permanent.

Hm. Guess Deseret will have to start acting vicious! Lol! And Vlanna, well she's been infected for quite some time anyway. I am sure lots of you have read the pot I Dream Of Murder...lol.

ack, sorry, i forgot all about it. >.< here ya go:
you enter the cave, and inside is a tiny arabian colt of bay color. it has clearly only just been weaned, and is frail and sickly. there is no gurentee it will survive the night. its mother fell ill and was killed by a pack of wolves. should you choose to adopt it, it will become apparent to you that the foal is a light, and has a terrible fear of anything dark. also, should you choose to adopt it, you would play it, but i will give you updates periodically on the foal's development. you will need to create a new thread in the lost garden, in which you will find the foal and decide what to do from there.
