Why am I so attached to the male? I have hardly met him and I am weeping over him. I am pathetic. I disgust myself, seeing that I have become what I despise the most. Pathetic females clinging to a brujo, and being so emotional. I look at my situation from the outside point of view and I see something I had missed the first time. I do not really care for this masculine as much as I though. Sure, he was handsome and kind, but other than that, what do I know of him. Very little, to say the least.

My pools dry and I back away from Renegade, returning to the "stranger zone" about 4 feet from his crania. I should let him go, I tell myself. I think he cares a bit more about Nyx then he leads me to believe. Besides, what is the point in standing here if the outcome will be none?
