o o c; I'm still a bit rusty from not roleplaying with horses, so please bear with me. =]
b i c; The rays of the warm summer sun shone down upon Aura as she made her way through the vast expanse of green grasses; her gentle brown eyes rotated in their sockets as she scanned the region, curious as to what inhabited the land she had stumbled upon. The golden mare paused, her nostrils quivering slightly as she scented the air - noting that it was rich with the scents of other horses. Aura, now curious as to whose land she had intruded upon, lifted her muzzle up towards the blue sky and released a whinny, telling the leaders of her presence.
The mare's ears pricked forward as she listened to the echo of her song sound throughout the land, searching for a call in return. Aura snorted softly as a sudden breeze swept past her, carrying her blonde mane and tail along with it, pulling strands along in a dance; her mouth, which had remained straight without the hint of a smile nor a frown, suddenly curved upwards as a small laugh slipped from her lips, escaping into the air. Aura tossed her head playfully and snorted as the wind suddenly died, her forelock spilling into her eyes and over the white blaze that stood out from the golden color of her pelt.
"And now, I wait..." she murmured softly to herself as she waited the arrival of someone from the herd.

Auds pricked, nostrils flared for new scents, Misty was ready to explore her new home. Her trotters swept the grass as she jogged aimlessly, looking for anything and everything. She soon caught the sweet waft and sharp whinny of another of her kind, another mare at that. Her hormones were reacting to her pregnancy at this point, and she wanted to retain her gleeful disposition for as long as possible. She finally found the other horse, a palomino mare a bit older than she. "Hello," the bleached mare brayed, trying to get her attention. "I'm Misty! Who are you?" ooc-don't worry, me too.

Harks flicked backwards as the sound of an approaching equine, accompanied with a vix's voice, reached Aura; she craned her skull around, spotting the alabaster lady, her sides swollen with her unborn foal. A gentle smile spread across Aura's kissers as she watched the nymph continue to make her way towards her. The golden hued seraphine bobbed her cranium in greeting before moving towards the pregnant femme, her peds beating softly against the emerald earth.
"Hello, Misty." Aura said as she reached the mare, her blonde tassels flicking across her sides, "I am Aura, a newcomer to Empire. Might I inquire as to who rules over these lands?" Her voice was soft and friendly, and it floated in the breezes that swept through the terra.
Aura's harks pricked forth as she awaited Misty's answer, her eyes sometimes straying to the swollen sides of the alabaster femme. "Might I ask when your babe is due?"

"Hello, Aura, it's nice to meet you," Misty whinnied, walking closer to Aura. "Sir Emerald rules these lands, I was just taking to him, I'm not sure where he may have run off to. He happens to be the father, and it's due some time this summer." The pearl mare dipped her dainty head and pulled up the succulent buttercup in front of her. As soon as she had swallowed, she said, "I have no mate. Emerald has a true love, but he gave me a child to soothe my lonliness. You see..." Misty told her new friend all about her father, her island, her brother, and the hurricane that destroyed everything she held dear. "Emerald has a kind heart. I'm sure that if you join the herd, you will think him fair and enjoy living here."

Aura watched as Misty took a step closer to her, her brown pools studying the pregnant vix with interest. Her harks flicked forth as Misty's soft voice drifted on the winds, carrying to her the answer to her question. Her nostrils quivered as she scented the air once more, her muzzle held towards the azure sky as she caught the sweet scent of other horses - stags and seductresses; a simple smirk curved her kissers upwards, but it meant nothing - it was just a part of Aura's character. Tossing her skull, the blonde seraphine sent the golden strands of her boa flying in all directions, a sudden rush of excitement coming over her usually calm personality.
She might be finally getting a home!
A whinny was flung from Aura's vocals and into the wind, the cry seen fading into nothing. Golden forelock spilled into Aura's pools as it settled, her strands falling on either side of her crest. Suddenly, the playful nymph remembered her company and turned to look sheepishly at Misty. A faint, embarassed sparkle twinkled in her lanterns. Misty spoke again, this time of her history; Aura listened closely, her pinnas flicking forth in order to catch every word that her newfound friend said.
A feeling of sorrow for the soon-to-be-dam washed over Aura, and she stretched her crest forward, giving the snow-kissed mare a gentle nuzzle before pulling back. "I am sorry for your losses, but with your babe and new friend, I am sure that your lonliness will soon vanish." Aura smiled and flicked her hock kisser across her sides, ridding herself of any pestering flies that had come to rest upon her bodice. Looking about, Aura took in the sights of what she hoped would be her new home. A satisfied sigh slid past her kissers as she turned back to Misty.

A nicker escapes my kissers as I trot over a hillside, on my daily rounds. Two vixen stand near the base of the meadow, talking, looking rather cheerful. In case my nicker was not audible from the distance, I let loose a whinny, kind and welcoming.
It's a very fine day here upon God's Prevail. The summer light spills across my pelt, hued amber-champagne. My tassles dance in a warm breeze that runs occasionally through the air as I move into a relax lope, crown low over the lush grasses. One of the vixen I can identify as Misty, due to her colouring and swelled belly. It is late in the season, and I am aware that her foal will soon come into the world. I haven't yet told Cyara of this, though I'm hoping that m'love won't mind. I'm sure that she is aware of my breeding other vixen. After all, I lead a herd- this is quite necessary. And, I'm sure that she knows how special she is, over them all.
My mahogany pools glow with eagerness, a smile curving across my lips as I draw nearer to the couple of vixen. I slow to a trot once more, then a walk, and finally come to a halt, only a foot away from the two. In human lengthing, that is.
A nicker escapes my lips, once more, as I gaze from Misty to the newcomer.
Good day, Misty, I whicker, gently reaching to touch her muzzle with mine. A mere greeting, a small affection amoung friends. I withdraw my maw quickly, gazing towards the other.
Hello. I am Emerald, lead of these lands. May I ask who you may be?

Misty turned to her friend that had called her and gave him a friendly nuzzle back. "Why hello, Emerald! We were just talking about you. This is Aura," She nickered, turning her head towards the palomino mare. "She would like to join the herd." The alabaster vixen stepped back so to let Emerald and Aura face each other. She wouldn't want to be rude, especially with friends. New friends, oh joy! New friends. She had never been so happy. Not even with her father, not even with her brother. She had a babe on the way and counterparts that liked her as much as she liked them. This was happiness. A sharp pain in her spine soon brought her into the real world. "Oh... I'll be back, I just... need to lay down..." She sighed, and she sloppily galloped off to find somewhere where she could rest.

Aura's harks flicked forth as a distant whinny sounded over the terrain, and she looked about curiously, wondering if the cry belonged to the lead of the land. With her nostrils quivering, the honey-hu'd vix caught scent of a brute; a shiver of excitement ran along her spine as her chocolate orbits searched for the source of the whinny, her search lasting shortly. Her visage caught sight of an amber stud that was making his way towards them, and she snorted softly, brushing her ribbons along her side and rump.
As he reached them, she watched as he greeted Misty, confirming her beliefs when he turned to her, stating that he was Emerald, Lord of God's Prevail. Aura dipped her cranium politely in respect for the stag before allowing her kissers to part. However, before she could speak, Misty acknowledged Emerald, introducing her in the process and stating her reason for being here; a smile spread across her lips at her friend's eagerness. She dipped her golden head in a silent thanks for Misty as the alabaster nymph stepped aside, allowing her to speak.
Aura was about to speak once again, but then Misty's voice sounded again; it sounded different as if she were in pain, which caused Aura to cast a worried glance at her friend. The mare seemed to be in a touch of pain, but before the sun-kissed nymph could offer her assistance, Misty was already galloping unsteadily away. I hope she's - Her babe must be on the way!, she thought suddenly, throwing a worried glance at Emerald, I hope it all goes well...
Shaking her skull, Aura turned her attention back to Emerald, though, her pools kept darting to the place where Misty had let. "As Misty stated before, Emerald, I am Aura, a wandering vix. When I entered the lands of Empire, I heard of a place known as God's Prevail and was intrigued by what was said about it, so I came here." she said, dipping her head in respect once again. "As Misty has said, I am in search of a home and have become attached to this place..."

ooc// Gah! Sorry, this took forever. I'm thinking we should finish this off, due to the move, so forgive me if this post is a little abrupt...
I watch, a little worriedly, as my friend seems to stumble, a little. I can see great pain in her eyes, as she turns, and staggers away. I want to comfort her, but, even as I take a small step towards her, she vanishes, galloping away. I frown, for a moment, worried, and thoughtful. But, then, I remember. The foal! It must be on its way! A smile curves over my lips, as I think if another babe upon my lands. Hopefuly, Cyara will understand, for I will certainly have to tell her of my fathership, soon. After all, lovers don't keep secrets. A gentle sigh escapes my lips as I return my gaze to Aura, with a bob of my crown. A smile curves across my lips. Perhaps she, too, is here to join my harem? After all, this is what Misty told me. Gladness adorns my every feature- my orbs, my facade. My auds prick forwards blissfully, my banner lifting slightly from my rump. I don't know why this makes me so glad- it's just another mare. But, then again, I have just realized that my foal is to be born. Yesterday, I learned of my new heir. And, now, another mare to my harem.
She seems a little nervous, a little flustered as she parts her lips in speech. I lower my crown, slightly, dipping beneath hers, as I prick my auds. Taking a couple of steps towards her, I catch her soft lyrics as they dance through the air. She explains to me how she wishes a place to stay- how she heard about God's Prevail. She pauses, before explaining her attachment to these lands. Her voice trails- she seems nervous, or bashful, or excited...
My lips part in speech, as I realize she is asking to dwell here. I bob my crown a cople of times, picking up where she left off. My ebon tassels dance in a breeze that sweeps peacefully over the lands, my golden pelt giving off a delicate sheen.
You are welcome here, I exclaim, softly, reassuringly. I gently nudge her maw, smiling gently.
